Core Storage Rule

Dry powder is usually stored cold and protected from light. Once mixed, research peptides are generally kept refrigerated, protected from light and not frozen. Always label vials with the compound name and date mixed.

Simple Peptide Storage Checklist

Before mixing

  • Check the vial label and supplier instructions.
  • Keep dry powder cold and away from light.
  • Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
  • Do not use damaged, leaking or unclear vials.

After mixing

  • Label the vial with the date reconstituted.
  • Store refrigerated at 2–8°C.
  • Keep the vial protected from light.
  • Discard if the solution looks, smells or behaves unusually.
