Independent Package Audit

Optic Labs Packaging Audit

As part of our independent vendor review process, Peptide Hub Australia placed an order with Optic Labs to assess the real-world packaging, dispatch speed and overall delivery presentation.

  • Audit status: Completed
  • Dispatch observed: Australia Post label created in Sydney at 5:40pm on 14 July
  • Delivery: Delivered to Brisbane at 2:20pm on Thursday and safely left in a secure location
  • Packaging: Premium branded presentation with securely packed products
  • Overall impression: Fast Australia Post delivery and professional presentation. Packaging was well presented, although additional bubble wrapping would provide even better protection during transit.

Peptide Hub Australia Vendor Review

Optic Labs Review Australia

Optic Labs is an Australian research peptide supplier with a professional website, Australian fulfilment, card payments and a broad product range. Our view of the vendor has changed since our original review. Recent customer feedback has included repeated complaints about unanswered emails and delayed communication, which is consistent with our own recent experience contacting the business. We also have questions about the provenance and independence of some laboratory reports presented by Optic Labs.

Peptide Hub verdict: Optic Labs remains an operating Australian vendor, but our confidence has reduced following recent customer service complaints, our own communication difficulties and unresolved questions around the provenance of some published laboratory data.

Optic Labs still has several positive features. The website is professional, the catalogue covers many popular research compounds, card payment is available and the business ships domestically within Australia. The issue is that vendor rankings should change when the evidence changes. Recent feedback has made it difficult for us to retain the stronger score previously awarded to Optic Labs.

Optic Labs at a Glance

Optic Labs is an Australian research peptide supplier operating through opticlabsau.com.

The business offers Australian domestic fulfilment, mainstream online checkout and a catalogue that currently includes more than 30 products and vial variations tracked by Peptide Hub.

Optic Labs previously scored considerably higher in our ranking because its website, public laboratory library and early customer feedback created a relatively strong first impression.

That assessment has now been revised.

34 products compared A broad catalogue covering many popular research compounds and blends.
Public laboratory section Janoshik reports are displayed across a number of Optic Labs products.
Recent communication concerns Multiple customers have reported unanswered emails, which is consistent with our recent experience contacting the business.
What has changed: Peptide Hub has received and identified more recent negative customer feedback concerning communication and order support. We have also experienced difficulty obtaining timely responses from Optic Labs ourselves. This is materially different from the customer experience picture available when our original review was written.
Our Ranking Framework

Optic Labs Score: 52/100

Peptide Hub Australia scores vendors across six categories. Scores are not permanent. They are updated when new laboratory information, package audits, customer feedback or direct experience changes our assessment.

Category Score Assessment
Testing & Transparency 15 / 30 Optic Labs publishes a substantial collection of Janoshik reports. However, Peptide Hub has questions about whether some reports originate from another supplier or company rather than laboratory testing independently commissioned by Optic Labs from its own Australian inventory. Clearer attribution and testing independence would improve this score.
Price & Value 13 / 20 Pricing is generally reasonable across the range and Optic Labs regularly advertises promotions. Value remains one of the stronger parts of the offering.
Community Reputation 4 / 15 Earlier feedback was more positive. Recent customer submissions have raised concerns about unanswered emails, delayed responses, fulfilment and product support. The pattern is now mixed rather than clearly positive.
Customer Experience 6 / 15 Optic Labs offers card checkout, Australian shipping and has completed a Peptide Hub package audit. However, recent customer support complaints and our own difficulty obtaining timely replies materially reduce this score.
Product Range 7 / 10 A solid catalogue with approximately 34 products and vial variations currently tracked by Peptide Hub.
Website & Transparency 7 / 10 The website is professional and provides product, shipping and laboratory information. The score is reduced by questions around testing attribution and the gap between advertised support standards and recent customer experiences.
Total Peptide Hub Score 52 / 100 Optic Labs retains several positive operational features, but recent service complaints, communication difficulties and testing provenance questions have reduced our confidence in the vendor.
Most Important Finding

Optic Labs Testing and COA Transparency

Testing was previously one of the strongest parts of our Optic Labs assessment.

The business publishes a large number of Janoshik laboratory reports covering products including Retatrutide, BPC 157, TB 500, GHK Cu, MOTS C, KPV, Melanotan II, PT 141 and several blends.

Publishing laboratory reports is better than providing no supporting analytical information.

However, the existence of a genuine laboratory report is only one part of the testing question.

The question Peptide Hub is now examining: Can the published laboratory report be clearly connected to testing independently commissioned by Optic Labs and to the Optic Labs inventory currently supplied to customers?

Peptide Hub has identified concerns that some COA data presented by Optic Labs may originate from another supplier or company rather than from testing independently commissioned by Optic Labs itself.

At this stage we do not have enough evidence to state that the reports are false, and we are not making that claim.

The issue is attribution.

If a manufacturer or upstream supplier commissioned the testing, that should be made clear. A supplier COA can still be useful, but it should not be treated as equivalent to Optic Labs selecting a vial from its Australian inventory and commissioning its own independent test.

Peptide Hub view: Until the provenance of the laboratory reports is clearer, we do not think Optic Labs should receive the same testing score as vendors that can demonstrate independent testing of their own retail inventory.

Why COA Provenance Matters

A laboratory report can be genuine while still providing limited evidence about the stock being sold by a particular vendor.

For example, a manufacturer may test a production batch and then provide the same report to multiple businesses purchasing that product.

That does not make the laboratory result false.

It does mean the report is better described as supplier testing than independent vendor testing.

The strongest testing chain is when a vendor takes a vial from stock it already holds, sends that vial to an independent laboratory and publishes a report containing a clear batch identifier that can also be matched to the product supplied to customers.

What we would like Optic Labs to do: Clearly identify who commissioned each laboratory report and begin publishing independent Optic Labs commissioned testing of branded stock selected from its own Australian inventory.
Recent Concern

Customer Service and Communication

Customer support is now one of the main reasons Optic Labs has fallen in our rankings.

The Optic Labs website presents customer support as a strong feature and promotes fast assistance.

Recent experiences reported to Peptide Hub tell a different story.

We have received customer feedback describing emails going unanswered for extended periods. More importantly, our own recent communication with Optic Labs has also required repeated follow ups to obtain responses.

Peptide Hub experience: Recent email response times from Optic Labs have been poor. In several cases we have needed to follow up rather than receiving a timely response to the original enquiry.

That matters because responsive support becomes particularly important when a customer has a question about an order, delivery or product concern.

A modern website and easy checkout do not compensate for weak post purchase communication.

Community Reputation

Recent Optic Labs Customer Feedback

The community picture around Optic Labs has become more mixed.

Peptide Hub has recently received multiple negative reports relating primarily to communication and customer support.

One customer review submitted in August 2026 said an order placed on a Friday was expected to dispatch on Monday but was not shipped until Thursday. The customer also said their emails were not answered.

Another customer reported contacting Optic Labs twice regarding a concern with an NAD+ vial and said they had received no response after approximately two weeks.

A separate customer who said they had purchased from Optic Labs for approximately four months told Peptide Hub they had lost confidence in the vendor after receiving no response to several questions. That customer also raised concerns about BAC water labelling and older COA information.

Important: These are individual customer reports. Peptide Hub does not treat a single review as proof that every customer will have the same experience. The reason the feedback affects the score is that several recent reports describe a similar communication problem and this is consistent with our own experience contacting Optic Labs.

What About Claims That Reviews Were Removed?

One customer who contacted Peptide Hub alleged that reviews had disappeared from the Optic Labs website.

We have not independently verified that allegation.

There can be legitimate reasons for reviews being moderated or removed, including duplication, spam or content that breaches a site’s review policy.

For that reason, Peptide Hub does not treat the allegation as an established fact and it does not directly affect the Optic Labs score.

Peptide Hub view: The more important and independently relevant concern is the repeated pattern of customers saying they could not obtain a response from Optic Labs.

Product Range

Product range remains a positive part of the Optic Labs offering.

Peptide Hub currently tracks approximately 34 Optic Labs products and vial variations.

The catalogue covers most of the popular categories commonly compared across Australian vendors.

  • Retatrutide
  • BPC 157
  • TB 500
  • BPC 157 + TB 500
  • GHK Cu
  • CJC 1295 no DAC
  • Ipamorelin
  • CJC 1295 + Ipamorelin
  • MOTS C
  • KPV
  • Melanotan II
  • PT 141
  • AOD9604
  • 5 Amino 1MQ
  • Glow blends
  • KLOW style blends
  • Metabolic research compounds
  • Recovery research compounds
  • Cosmetic research compounds
  • Bacteriostatic water
Product Range Score: 7/10. Optic Labs offers a solid catalogue and covers many of the compounds Australian customers commonly compare. Product availability is not the main concern in our current assessment.

Shipping, Checkout and Payment

The front end purchasing experience remains relatively straightforward.

Shipping

  • Australian domestic fulfilment
  • Free shipping over $100 advertised
  • Same day dispatch before 12pm advertised
  • Australia Post delivery options
  • Peptide Hub package audit completed

Payment

  • Credit card checkout
  • Debit card checkout
  • Standard ecommerce payment process
  • Online order confirmation

The concern is less about placing an order and more about what happens when a customer needs assistance afterwards.

Recent customer feedback suggests that the advertised dispatch and communication experience is not being delivered consistently.

Website and Transparency

The Optic Labs website presents well.

It is clean, modern and easy to navigate. Product pages are clearly presented and laboratory documentation is available publicly rather than being hidden behind private requests.

Those remain positive features.

The problem is that transparency is not only about how much information is displayed.

It also matters whether the claims displayed on the website are supported by the customer experience and whether laboratory reports are clearly attributed.

Peptide Hub view: Optic Labs would improve transparency by clearly stating whether each COA was commissioned by Optic Labs, its manufacturer or another supplier, and by addressing the gap between its advertised customer support standards and recent customer feedback.

Should You Choose Optic Labs or a More Established Vendor?

Optic Labs remains an operating Australian supplier and there are customers who have reported satisfactory experiences.

However, Peptide Hub rankings are designed to compare the strength of the available evidence rather than simply determine whether a business exists.

At the moment, there are Australian vendors with a longer trading history, stronger independent community reputation, more responsive communication and clearer testing provenance.

Peptide Hub view: Readers who place a high priority on established reputation, responsive customer support and clearly attributable independent testing may be better served by considering one of the higher ranked vendors in the Peptide Hub comparison while Optic Labs works through the issues identified in this review.

That does not mean Optic Labs cannot improve its position.

Vendor rankings are updated as the evidence changes.

Final Assessment

Why Has the Optic Labs Score Fallen?

Our previous Optic Labs review was written when the available evidence looked more favourable.

At that time, the professional website, public laboratory reports, Australian fulfilment and early customer feedback supported a stronger ranking.

The evidence has changed.

We are now seeing several recent customer reports describing poor communication. We have experienced similar difficulty obtaining timely responses ourselves.

There are also unresolved questions around the provenance of some laboratory data published by Optic Labs.

None of this proves that Optic Labs products are inaccurately labelled or that its laboratory reports are false.

That is not our conclusion.

Our conclusion is that the level of confidence supported by the available evidence is lower than it was when we first assessed the business.

The two priorities for Optic Labs: Improve customer communication and publish clearly attributable independent testing of Optic Labs stock.

We would like to see customer emails answered consistently within the timeframe advertised by the business.

We would also like Optic Labs to independently select branded vials from its Australian inventory, commission current laboratory testing and publish reports that clearly connect the tested sample with the retail batch.

If communication improves, testing provenance becomes clearer and customer feedback stabilises, the Optic Labs score can increase again.

Peptide Hub Rating: 52/100

Optic Labs remains an operating Australian research vendor with a professional website, Australian fulfilment, card payments and a broad catalogue. However, recent customer service complaints, our own difficulty obtaining timely replies and unresolved questions around the independence and attribution of some laboratory data have reduced our confidence. Readers who prioritise an established track record, responsive support and clearer independent testing may prefer one of the higher ranked vendors currently listed by Peptide Hub.

Frequently Asked Questions

Optic Labs FAQ

Is Optic Labs legitimate?

Optic Labs appears to be an operating Australian research peptide vendor with an active ecommerce website, Australian fulfilment, card payment facilities, a broad catalogue and public laboratory documentation.

Peptide Hub’s concern is not whether the business exists. Our current lower score reflects customer service concerns, recent community feedback and questions around the provenance of some laboratory testing.

Why did Peptide Hub lower the Optic Labs rating?

The score was reduced after several recent customer reports described unanswered emails and poor communication. Peptide Hub has also experienced difficulty obtaining timely responses from Optic Labs. Questions around the attribution and independence of some published COA data also reduced the testing score.

Does Optic Labs use Janoshik?

Optic Labs publishes a substantial number of Janoshik laboratory reports across its website.

The current concern is not whether Janoshik produced the underlying reports. The question is whether all of the reports can be clearly connected to testing commissioned by Optic Labs and to current Optic Labs retail inventory.

Are the Optic Labs COAs fake?

Peptide Hub is not making that claim.

Our concern relates to provenance and attribution. Some laboratory data appears to potentially originate from an upstream supplier or another company rather than independent testing commissioned directly by Optic Labs. We would like Optic Labs to clarify who commissioned each report.

What would improve the Optic Labs testing score?

Optic Labs should independently select branded vials from stock already held in Australia and commission current laboratory analysis under its own name. A matching batch identifier on the tested vial and customer stock would provide a much stronger testing chain.

What are customers saying about Optic Labs?

Customer feedback is mixed. Earlier discussion included positive experiences, but Peptide Hub has recently received several negative reports concerning unanswered emails, delayed communication and order support.

Has Peptide Hub had trouble contacting Optic Labs?

Yes. Our recent experience has involved slow response times and the need to follow up on enquiries that did not receive a timely initial response.

Did Optic Labs delete negative reviews?

One customer alleged that reviews had disappeared from the Optic Labs website. Peptide Hub has not independently verified that claim, so we do not present it as an established fact and it is not directly included in the vendor score.

Does Optic Labs offer Australian shipping?

Yes. Optic Labs advertises Australian domestic fulfilment, same day dispatch for qualifying orders and free shipping above its published threshold.

Recent customer feedback suggests the advertised dispatch timeframe may not be achieved consistently.

Has Peptide Hub completed an Optic Labs package audit?

Yes. Optic Labs has completed the Peptide Hub Australia package audit process. A package audit documents one ordering and fulfilment experience and does not override later customer service feedback or verify every product and batch sold by the vendor.

Should I use Optic Labs or a more established vendor?

Optic Labs remains an operating Australian supplier, but there are currently higher ranked vendors on Peptide Hub with longer track records, stronger community reputations, more responsive communication or clearer independent testing evidence.

Readers who place a high priority on those factors may prefer to compare the more established vendors before deciding.

Peptide Hub Australia Review Methodology: Vendor scores are based on testing and transparency, price and value, community reputation, customer experience, product range and website transparency. Scores may change as new laboratory reports, package audits, direct communication experiences and customer feedback become available. Customer reviews are treated as anecdotal evidence and are not presented as laboratory proof. Peptide Hub does not assume that a laboratory report is false simply because its commissioning party or supply chain is unclear. Testing scores reflect how clearly the available evidence can be attributed to the vendor and connected to its retail inventory. All compounds discussed on this page are presented for lawful research purposes only.
