Updated Independent Vendor Review

Is Optic Labs Australia Legit?

Optic Labs is an operating Australian research peptide supplier with domestic fulfilment, card payments, a professional ecommerce website and a public laboratory report library. However, Peptide Hub Australia’s assessment has changed following recent customer service complaints, our own communication difficulties and unresolved questions around the provenance and independence of some published laboratory data.

52 Peptide Hub Score / 100
5.2 / 10 Rating

Quick Verdict

Optic Labs appears to be an operating Australian vendor, but our confidence in the business is lower than it was in our original review.

Positive factors remain: Australian fulfilment, card checkout, a professional website, a broad catalogue and publicly displayed Janoshik reports. However, recent customer complaints about unanswered emails and delayed communication are consistent with Peptide Hub Australia’s own recent difficulty obtaining timely responses.

We also have unresolved questions about whether some laboratory reports were independently commissioned by Optic Labs from its own Australian retail inventory or originate from an upstream supplier or another company.

Why the Optic Labs Rating Changed

Optic Labs previously ranked considerably higher. At that time, its professional website, public laboratory library, Australian fulfilment and earlier customer feedback supported a stronger assessment.

The evidence available to Peptide Hub Australia has since changed. Vendor scores are not permanent, and we update them when new customer feedback, laboratory information, package audits or direct experience changes our assessment.

Communication

Several recent customer reports describe unanswered emails or delayed responses. Peptide Hub has also experienced slow or absent replies without follow-up.

Testing Attribution

Optic Labs publishes many laboratory reports, but questions remain around who commissioned some tests and how directly they connect to current Optic Labs retail inventory.

Operational Positives

Australian fulfilment, card payments, a professional website, public laboratory documentation and a broad product range remain positive features.

Optic Labs at a Glance

Optic Labs operates as an Australian research peptide supplier with domestic fulfilment and a standard ecommerce checkout experience.

34 Products Compared

Peptide Hub currently tracks approximately 34 products and vial variations across the Optic Labs catalogue.

Public Laboratory Section

Janoshik laboratory reports are publicly displayed across a number of products rather than being available only by private request.

Mixed Community Reputation

Earlier feedback was more positive, while more recent reports have raised repeated concerns about communication and support.

Optic Labs Score: 52/100

Peptide Hub Australia currently scores Optic Labs across six core vendor categories.

Category Score Assessment
Testing & Transparency 15 / 30 A substantial Janoshik report library is available. The score is reduced because questions remain around whether some reports were independently commissioned by Optic Labs and how clearly they connect to current retail inventory.
Price & Value 13 / 20 Pricing is generally reasonable across the catalogue and Optic Labs regularly advertises promotions. Value remains one of the stronger parts of the offering.
Community Reputation 4 / 15 Earlier feedback was more positive. Recent customer submissions have raised concerns around unanswered emails, delayed responses, fulfilment and product support.
Customer Experience 6 / 15 Card checkout, Australian shipping and a completed package audit are positives. Recent customer support complaints and Peptide Hub’s own communication experience materially reduce this score.
Product Range 7 / 10 A solid catalogue with approximately 34 products and vial variations currently tracked by Peptide Hub.
Website & Transparency 7 / 10 The website is professional and provides product, shipping and laboratory information. Questions around testing attribution and recent support experiences reduce the score.
Total Peptide Hub Score 52 / 100 Optic Labs retains several positive operational features, but recent service complaints, communication difficulties and testing provenance questions have reduced our confidence.

Optic Labs Testing and COA Transparency

Testing was previously one of the strongest parts of our Optic Labs assessment. The vendor publishes a substantial number of Janoshik reports covering many popular research compounds and blends.

Publishing genuine laboratory documentation is better than providing no analytical information. However, the existence of a laboratory report is only one part of the testing question.

The key question: Can each published laboratory report be clearly connected to testing independently commissioned by Optic Labs and to the Optic Labs inventory currently supplied to customers?

Peptide Hub has identified concerns that some COA data presented by Optic Labs may originate from another supplier or company rather than from testing independently commissioned by Optic Labs itself.

We do not have sufficient evidence to state that those reports are false, and we are not making that claim. The issue is attribution and provenance.

A supplier or manufacturer COA can still provide useful information, but it should not be treated as equivalent to a vendor selecting a vial from its own Australian stock, independently sending that vial for laboratory analysis and publishing a report clearly linked to the retail batch.

Customer Service and Communication

Customer support is now one of the main reasons Optic Labs has fallen in Peptide Hub Australia’s rankings.

Recent customer reports submitted to Peptide Hub have described emails going unanswered for extended periods. Our own recent communication with Optic Labs has also required repeated follow-ups rather than receiving consistently timely responses to initial enquiries.

  • Recent customer complaints describe unanswered emails and poor communication.
  • Peptide Hub has experienced slow or absent email responses without follow-up.
  • Some recent customer feedback has raised concerns about dispatch delays and post-purchase support.
  • Recent community sentiment is now mixed rather than consistently positive.

Individual customer reviews remain anecdotal and do not prove that every customer will have the same experience. The reason the feedback affects our score is that several recent reports describe a similar communication pattern and that pattern is consistent with our own recent experience.

Optic Labs Package Audit

Peptide Hub Australia independently ordered from Optic Labs to assess the real-world dispatch, packaging and delivery experience.

Optic Labs Australia independent package audit
Audited

Independent Order Received

Dispatch
Australia Post shipping label created in Sydney at 5:40pm on 14 July, with delivery completed in Brisbane at 2:20pm on Thursday.
Packaging
Premium branded presentation and professional packaging. Additional bubble wrapping would improve protection during transit.

Package audits assess dispatch speed, packaging quality, presentation and delivery experience only. They do not verify product purity, sterility, safety or suitability.

Shipping, Checkout and Payment

The front-end purchasing experience remains one of the stronger parts of Optic Labs.

Shipping

  • Australian domestic fulfilment
  • Free shipping over $100 advertised
  • Same-day dispatch before 12pm advertised
  • Australia Post delivery options
  • Peptide Hub package audit completed

Checkout

  • Credit card checkout
  • Debit card checkout
  • Standard ecommerce payment process
  • Online order confirmation

The current concern is less about the ability to place an order and more about what happens if a customer requires assistance after purchase.

Optic Labs Product Range

Product range remains a positive part of the Optic Labs offering. Peptide Hub currently tracks approximately 34 products and vial variations.

The catalogue covers popular research categories including Retatrutide, BPC-157, TB-500, BPC-157 + TB-500, GHK-Cu, CJC-1295 No DAC, Ipamorelin, CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin, Melanotan II, PT-141, AOD-9604, 5-Amino-1MQ, MOTS-C, KPV, Glow-style blends, KLOW-style blends and bacteriostatic water.

Final Verdict: Is Optic Labs Australia Legit?

Optic Labs appears to remain an operating Australian research peptide vendor with an active ecommerce website, domestic fulfilment, card payment facilities, a broad catalogue and public laboratory documentation.

Our concern is not simply whether the business exists. The lower 52/100 score reflects a weaker overall evidence profile than we previously assessed.

Recent customer service complaints, Peptide Hub Australia’s own difficulty obtaining timely responses and unresolved questions around the provenance and independence of some laboratory reports have reduced our confidence.

Optic Labs could improve its position by consistently improving customer communication and publishing clearly attributable independent testing of branded stock selected from its own Australian inventory.

Readers who prioritise an established track record, responsive support and clearer independent testing may prefer to compare Optic Labs with the higher-ranked Australian vendors currently listed by Peptide Hub Australia.

Ive been purchasing off Optic labs for last 4 months. No change in the peptides ive purchased. Ive lost confidence in them now. Due to lack of communication. Ive tried to ask questions. No reply. A bottle BAC water came with no label. Still no response. They have also deleted two of my reviews as well as someone else’s review. Their COA is from sept 2024. No creditation is updated. Disappointing
